Policing and the People - from Policy Matters Ohio & Action Tank
So you've heard the discussions about public safety funding in local budgets, but do you feel equipped to engage with your local government to advocate for change?
Action Tank and Policy Matters Ohio have teamed up to demystify the local government budget process, especially as it relates to public safety budgets. This free, public workshop empowers participants skills to engage with elected leaders. We will offer the workshop three times via Zoom.
This session will include segments on local government budget training, community investment priorities, and workshops from artists Maggie Lou Rader and Pones on creative ways to engage in the process.
